# Authentication (SSO)

Authentication allows you to securely verify the identity of your Ebbot platform users via your preferred Identity Provider (IdP).

By implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) within the Chat widget, you can enable your end users a personalized experience and ensure that sensitive data is only accessible to authorized individuals.
