🛠️ Installation Instructions
1. Log in to Zendesk
Log in to your Zendesk Admin Center with an account that has admin privileges.
2. Upload the App
Go to Admin Center → Apps and Integrations → Apps → Manage.
Click the Upload Private App button.
Select the
.zipfile you received and upload it.Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
3. Enable the App
Once the app is uploaded, ensure it is enabled for the appropriate roles and groups in your Zendesk instance.
🔧 Configuration
After installing the app, configure the following settings:
API Key:
Obtain your EbbotGPT API key from your Ebbot account.
Enter it in the app settings under
egptApiKey.
Dataset ID:
This is the ID of the dataset the AI will use for generating responses.
Enter it in the app settings under
dataSetId.
Tenant ID:
This is your unique tenant identifier, it's usually the same as your company ID.
Enter it in the app settings under
tenantId.
🚀 How to Use
Open a Ticket:
Go to Zendesk and open any ticket.
Generate a Reply:
Click the "Generate Reply" button in the app sidebar.
The app will fetch the ticket transcript and generate an AI-powered response.
Edit the Reply:
Review and edit the response in the comment box.
Send the Reply:
Click "Send in Ticket" to submit the reply.
Customize the AI Persona:
Click the "AI Settings" button to open the persona configuration modal.
Update the AI’s tone and behavior to suit your needs.
